Manchester United legend Gary Neville has highlighted a small group of players who he thinks have been doing okay since Ruben Amorim took over as manager. Speaking during a recent match against Newcastle United, Neville singled out Amad Diallo, Diogo Dalot, and Noussair Mazraoui as the only three players who have been doing their jobs right. The rest of the squad, it seems, hasn't been meeting expectations. United has been struggling lately, with the team looking to avoid a fourth straight loss across all competitions. This isn't the first time they've faced trouble at home either, as they've already lost two Premier League games at Old Trafford under Amorim. The match against Newcastle didn't start well for United. They quickly found themselves two goals down, with Alexander Isak scoring in the fourth minute and Joelinton adding another in the 15th. Young player Joshua Zirkzee was subbed off at the 33rd minute, facing criticism for his performance. Neville didn't hold back his thoughts during the first half, pointing out that apart from Diallo, Dalot, and Mazraoui, the rest of the squad hasn't been performing up to par. He remarked that while these three players haven't been amazing, they have at least taken the right approach. In a surprise move, Marcus Rashford was brought back into the squad, despite having missed out on the previous four matchday squads under Amorim. He returns just in time, as upcoming games against Liverpool and Arsenal will put United's mettle to the test.
