Why Slashing Special Education Funding is a Bad Idea

Kids with disabilities need proper education to grow and become independent. Without it, they might struggle to find jobs later in life. It's not just about school. It's about their future. More kids are born with disabilities these days. Thanks to better medical care, premature babies survive more often. But they often need extra help. Also, fewer options exist for terminating pregnancies with serious disabilities. So, more kids need special education. Cutting funds is a bad idea. Instead, increasing support makes sense.
