The Philadelphia Eagles might be on the hunt for a new offensive coordinator next season. The hubbub is that Kellen Moore is the front-runner for the New Orleans Saints' head coaching job. After his second interview with the Saints, Moore seems to be the favorite. Jordan Schultz from FOX Sports called him the "leader in the clubhouse" in New Orleans. Adam Schefter from ESPN labeled him as a "lead candidate. " Mike Garafolo from NFL Network also mentioned that Moore is the most likely next head coach for New Orleans. The Saints can only officially hire Moore after the Eagles play in Super Bowl LIX. They interviewed him in person on Monday night in Philadelphia. Moore has also been in talks with the Cowboys and Jaguars, but both of those positions are now filled. The Saints job is the last one still open. When Mike McCarthy dropped out, all signs pointed toward Moore. The Eagles and Moore just delivered a fantastic offensive performance against the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game. They scored 55 points and 8 touchdowns in 11 drives. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had high praise for Moore during the playoffs. "Kellen is very detailed in everything he does, " said Sirianni. "He played and coached at a high level. He puts players in positions to succeed and can lead a team well. " Sirianni believes Moore will be a great head coach. If Moore leaves, the Eagles will need to find another offensive coordinator quickly. This search could start late into February. In the past, when the Eagles have lost coordinators, they've promoted from within with mixed results. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has voiced his desire for consistency on the offensive side of the ball. Under Sirianni, the Eagles would be looking for their fourth offensive coordinator in five years. For Hurts, it would be his fifth offensive coordinator in his NFL career.
