World Cup Memorabilia Goes Online: From Shakira’s Yellow Dress to BTS Gear

The auction house Christie’s teamed up with Global Citizen to launch an online sale called One Goal. The event runs from July 22 through July 29, 2026. Every lot is offered without a reserve and opens at a $100 bid. This low entry point signals a push to involve fans of all budgets.

Fans can bid on the official final match ball. Other early‑game spheres are also up for grabs, including the ball from the Mexico‑South Africa clash at Estadio Azteca, the Toronto opener, and the Los Angeles game used when the U.S. beat Paraguay 4‑1. Signed jerseys fill another section of the catalog. Lionel Messi’s 2022 Argentina home shirt appears alongside a U.S. Men’s National Team jersey. International stars like David Beckham, Alphonso Davies and Santiago Giménez have also donated autographed pieces.

Music stars added their own flair. All seven members of BTS each contributed an item. RM’s boots, J‑Hope’s gloves, Jin’s belt, Suga’s pants, V’s scarf, Jimin’s custom number‑7 jersey and Jung Kook’s jacket are listed. Madonna’s fingerless gloves and Justin Bieber’s Skylark sneakers also appear. Chris Martin wrote out the lyrics to “We Dance” and the full setlist by hand. Shakira’s iconic yellow ensemble from the “Dai Dai” music video, which also served as the tournament’s anthem, is another highlight.

A special soccer ball bears the names of every performer and conductor Gustavo Dudamel. All proceeds go to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. The initiative aims for $100 million. So far roughly $60 million has been collected. Grants have reached 58 community groups across 20 nations.

Interested parties can explore the full list on Christie’s website and place bids before the sale ends on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. The auction is designed to let fans own a piece of World Cup history without breaking the bank.
