YouTube has launched a new feature called "Recap. " It's similar to Spotify's "Wrapped" but for videos. This feature shows users a summary of their viewing habits over the past year.
The Recap uses your watch history to create up to 12 cards. These cards highlight your favorite channels, topics, and how your viewing habits have changed. It also includes music if you listened to a lot of it on YouTube.
YouTube says that Recap is designed to show your interests and the moments you explored this year. It also assigns you a personality type based on the videos you watched.
The feature is rolling out to users in North America first. It will expand to other parts of the world this week. You can find it on the Home or You tab in the mobile app. Desktop users can access it at youtube. com/recap.
This is not the first time YouTube has introduced a feature like this. YouTube Music already has a similar feature that rolled out last week. Some big names in the YouTube community, like Hank Green and Marques Brownlee, have been asking for this feature for a while.
Recap is a fun way to look back at your year on YouTube. It's a good way to see what you've been watching and how your interests have changed. It's also a good way to see how YouTube is listening to its users and introducing new features.
