Zach Bryan, a Grammy-winning singer, is set to perform at LSU's Tiger Stadium on March 28. This event is part of a new series called "Death Valley Live, " which aims to bring big-name artists to the stadium. The last concert at Tiger Stadium was in 2022, when Garth Brooks drew a massive crowd of over 100, 000 people. The "Death Valley Live" series is a collaboration between LSU Athletics, the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, Visit Baton Rouge, and the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership. The goal is to make Baton Rouge a more vibrant place by hosting major concerts. Lori Melancon, the CEO of the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership, said that these stadium shows are just one part of a bigger plan to boost the local music scene. Zach Bryan is currently on a world tour, with 40 shows planned across Europe and North America from March to October. His recent hit "Pink Skies" has gone viral on TikTok, adding to his growing popularity. Other artists performing with him at Tiger Stadium include Caamp and J. R. Carroll. The idea for these concerts came about after the East Baton Rouge Metro Council approved a tax deal. This deal allows the city to give back some of the sales tax money collected during the concerts to the event promoters. The dates for these concerts are March 28 and May 23, but only March 28 has been confirmed so far. Zach Bryan is known for his hit songs like "Something in the Orange, " "Dawns" with Maggie Rogers, and "I Remember Everything" featuring Kasey Musgraves. His music has a wide appeal, and his performance at Tiger Stadium is sure to be a highlight for fans.
